Hello Loves,
To start off July on the right foot, I thought I'd do a Look of the Day post.
This post only consists of my eye makeup because I do not wear foundation...
I guess its the cakey-ness that scares me and makes me not want to wear it!
I also did not wear blush today; however, I do wear that often.
So let's get started!
First I started off with Maybelline Color Tattoo cream eyeshadow in Bold Gold all over my lid.
^ Here's the label in case you want to go out and purchase this item! Hopefully this makes it easier for you to find. I purchased this at my local CVS...I do not remember how much this was though ):
Sorry about that!
This is Bold Gold...Don't be confused by the weird crack around the side, It is NOT dried out, it is actually very creamy. I really like cream eyeshadows in the summer (or any season for that matter), but this shadow stays FOREVER. I wish I could take high quality pictures of my makeup on my face because this baby has not creased yet, and it has been almost 12 hours!
Next, I put Sable (from mac) in my outer corner and in my crease, just to darken things up, but still make it look natural.
Label again (;
Ahh, is this not the most gorgeous brown? This shadow is a frost by mac. It is the first shadow I purchased from mac...and I have used it a lot...but you would not be able to tell!
This eyeshadow was $14
Then, on my bottom lash line, I put Dames Desire (also a frost by mac).
This was a part of the Liberty of London collection, but I picked it up at my local Cosmetic's Company Store, if you're really set on buying this shadow, I'd check your local CCO or CCS (;
I forget exactly how much I paid for it, but I know it was less than $14
Here they all are swatched...
Left to Right: Bold Gold, Sable, Dames Desire
Bold Gold and Sable are both very pigmented, but Dames Desire I had to layer to get this pigmented look. I happen to like that fact because I like this for my bottom lash line, and I find if I use dark colors there, it makes me look super tired.
Overall, I'd recommend all of these shadows to anyone interested. They're pretty amazing!
To finish off my look I added my favorite mascara of the moment: Clump Crusher by CoverGirl
I also bought this at CVS, and forget how much it was ):
I think it was around $10...
There's a peek at the brush, It is slightly curved, and it really does separate my lashes!
Before, I used to use mascara, and then I'd have to go over it with a lash comb to separate them, but with this I don't have to do that!
I hope you enjoyed this post, and Follow my page!
Also, please comment down below about anything you'd like me to do a post about!
Thank you for reading!
