Look of the Day July First

Hello Loves,
To start off July on the right foot, I thought I'd do a Look of the Day post.
This post only consists of my eye makeup because I do not wear foundation...
I guess its the cakey-ness that scares me and makes me not want to wear it!

I also did not wear blush today; however, I do wear that often.

So let's get started!

First I started off with Maybelline Color Tattoo cream eyeshadow in Bold Gold all over my lid.

^ Here's the label in case you want to go out and purchase this item! Hopefully this makes it easier for you to find. I purchased this at my local CVS...I do not remember how much this was though ):
Sorry about that!

This is Bold Gold...Don't be confused by the weird crack around the side, It is NOT dried out, it is actually very creamy. I really like cream eyeshadows in the summer (or any season for that matter), but this shadow stays FOREVER. I wish I could take high quality pictures of my makeup on my face because this baby has not creased yet, and it has been almost 12 hours!

Next, I put Sable (from mac) in my outer corner and in my crease, just to darken things up, but still make it look natural.

Label again (;

Ahh, is this not the most gorgeous brown? This shadow is a frost by mac. It is the first shadow I purchased from mac...and I have used it a lot...but you would not be able to tell!
This eyeshadow was $14

Then, on my bottom lash line, I put Dames Desire (also a frost by mac).

This was a part of the Liberty of London collection, but I picked it up at my local Cosmetic's Company Store, if you're really set on buying this shadow, I'd check your local CCO or CCS (;
I forget exactly how much I paid for it, but I know it was less than $14

Here they all are swatched...
Left to Right: Bold Gold, Sable, Dames Desire

Bold Gold and Sable are both very pigmented, but Dames Desire I had to layer to get this pigmented look. I happen to like that fact because I like this for my bottom lash line, and I find if I use dark colors there, it makes me look super tired.

Overall, I'd recommend all of these shadows to anyone interested. They're pretty amazing!

To finish off my look I added my favorite mascara of the moment: Clump Crusher by CoverGirl
I also bought this at CVS, and forget how much it was ):
I think it was around $10...

There's a peek at the brush, It is slightly curved, and it really does separate my lashes!
Before, I used to use mascara, and then I'd have to go over it with a lash comb to separate them, but with this I don't have to do that!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and Follow my page!
Also, please comment down below about anything you'd like me to do a post about!

Thank you for reading!

Random Weekend Post

Hello there Beauty Addicts!

I know this has nothing to do with beauty, but I've collected a few funny pictures, and I thought I would share them with you today!

Then, I was thinking, hey! I can do a random post on the weekends....
What do you think?

Anyway, here they are...
P.S. I claim no credit on any of these photos, I simply found them on facebook and got a good laugh, so here I am to share the laughter...(which contributes to inner beauty..so maybe it's not so random!)

^^ This is actually the wallpaper on my phone...Yes. I do find this that funny.

^^1. I love cats.
2. A cat in a tux? GREAT!

HAHAHAHA. I cant even!

Out of all of these pictures... I probably laughed the most at this one...
and I dont even know why...
Every time I see it, I just crack up.

^^Ha! Ha!

^^ This is probably my least favorite, but I remember loving it when I found it,
so maybe you'll enjoy it as well?

I hope these pictures made you laugh...(or at least giggle).

Stay Happy!

June 2013 Favorites

Hello Again,
I cannot believe that June is just about over....but July is my birthday month so I am not complaining!
With the end of this month comes a monthly favorites post! Woohoo!

1. My first favorite this month is vauge.
It's anything neon!

Like my neon pink nail polish that is currently on my nails...
It's "Collide" from Illamasqua & I got complimented on it by a GUY at my work!
The picture below does not do it justice, it is a highliter pink color!

So I'd definitely recommend it to anyone!

and my neon yellow shorts from American Eagle Outfitters....

2. My second favorite is jogging, I have finally started to go for jogs in the evenings....hopefully it becomes a habit.

And who couldnt love jogging, when it is in these cute shorts!!

3. My third favorite is the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Serum..
I would be using my tigi S-Factor stuff, but that is MIA at the moment, and the Sleek and Shine Serum is doing a majorly good job, so I'm not too upset....
This makes my hair so soft, and it really does tame the frizz, of course not all of it. My hair does get a bit frizzy even when using this, but it is a lot better!

4. My fourth favorite is the whole clementine collection by The Body Shop (check out my previous review of it http://beautyinsideandout27.blogspot.com/2013/06/im-in-loveclementine-bath-products-from.html)

5. My fifth favorite is my everyday makeup look at the moment...

Nivea Lip Balms (blue & yellow); Naked 2 palette, clump crusher mascara

I feel like I could go on and on about what I've been loving this month, but I'll cut myself off at 5.

Any questions, comments, or suggestions?? Feel free to leave a comment!

I'm in Love...Clementine Bath Products from The Body Shop

I've heard of the brand "The Body Shop," and I've seen it in Ulta before, but I've never bought anything from there...until now.

While on a trip to the mall to test drive a MacBook Pro, I just had to stop in at every beauty store on the way...lush, mac, you name it!

Lately, I've been quite good at not spending my money on frivolous items; however, that was before I smelled The Body Shop's Clementine Bath Products.

In one word, YUM!
I love these products. I purchased the body polish, body butter, and a lip gloss.
I really regret not purchasing the shower gel!

The clementine products smell citrusy and bright (it's a happy scent, and as Audrey Hepburn says--the prettiest girl is a happy girl). There is also a sweet, fruity element to this scent, it isn't all citrusy...

My favorite product out of these three, is the body polish.

It is definitely exfoliating, but it is not as harsh as a regular sugar (or salt) scrub (I use one from Victoria's Secret). I only use shower scrubs about twice a week maxmium...but this body polish, you could use it everyday if you like! (And I have been!)

Downside: this was $20! A bit expensive I think. Also, it doesnt lather well on a loufa, which maybe body polishes in general do not lather well, but this forces me to use my hands and I feel like that makes me use so much more product than is necessary...and for that price I want to enjoy every little bit of this product for as long as possible!

I think next time,  I would rather purchase the body wash, instead of the body polish again.

My second favorite product is the body butter. I'm a sucker for body butters!

This body butter is great! (Much better than Bath and Body Works lotions...not that they're bad...this just works much better). This also leaves the smell of clementines on your skin for hours after application! So yummy! I apply this after showering, and it leaves my skin hydrated and not greasy!

Downside: it smells a little different in the lotion form I think, but maybe that's just me. After I apply it, it smells wonderful. Just to me, it smells a little different in the pot. Also, this was $10, and this is the small size!

Despite the size, and price, if I ever run out of this baby, I would probably repurchase it!

Lastly, the lip gloss.

This is a sheer gloss that has sparkles in it, but I cannot detect them on the lips.
If you're looking for an opaque coral gloss, this is NOT for you!
I was looking for a lip butter, and this certainly is not a thick lip butter, but it is hydrating, and I can barely detect the shimmers on my lips, which I like.
This has the amazing scent of the clementines as well, which is the whole reason I did not return this product.

While I love this product and the way it smells, I cannot stand flavoring in lip products, and this product has a weird taste. I'm not a fan...
As long as the product stays on my lips and does not travel into my mouth, I love it, but I would probably not repurchase this item.

Despite the fact that I would not repurchase 2/3 items, these really are great! I love the scent, and will definitely use these a lot!
